Big Tyre Funding For 2009 Metzeler DTR Streetstocks
NG Road Racing and Pirelli Metzeler Moto UK are delighted to announce the re launch of the Streetstock Championship which will run at each of the 8 NG Club events during 2009. The series is aimed at competitors with smaller race budgets, those coming into the sport from road riding, or who wish to expand on their track day experiences, without breaking the bank on tuning and race preparation costs.
The series has two categories - one for 600 to 700cc and up to 1300cc. With a noise limit of 98 Db/A, expensive tuning becomes largely pointless. The control tyre of choice is Metzeler Racetec once again, with the option of using the Racetec Rain if required. Dennis Trollope Racing Spares have pledged their support and will provide the end of year championship cash awards.
The big benefit for the series is the huge injection of free tyres from Pirelli Metzeler Moto UK. Dozens of tyres have been made available as prizes to race winners, plus the popular "Metzeler Performance of the day" award will carry the prize of free rubber for every race as well, going to someone other than race winners and championship leaders.

Racetecs for the series are available at a discounted rate from Dennis Trollope Racing Spares on 01179 570821 and A&R Racing on 01749 672890. Both offer a supply and fit service plus an extensive range of race consumables and performance enhancing products at each NG event. Round one will kick off at Brands Hatch on 21st and 22nd March.
